themebase designs and builds websites, dashboards, app interfaces, Shopify themes and custom Shopify stores, tools for online shops and the automation behind them — for businesses in Egypt and beyond. We are the ones responsible for the information described here. You can reach us at any time at contact@themebase.app.

An account stores your name, email address and a password you never send us in readable form. An order adds what you bought, the price, your phone number, and the shop domain you asked us to work on.

If you pay by Instapay or a wallet, you send us a screenshot of the transfer on WhatsApp so we can match the payment to your order. That screenshot sits in our WhatsApp chat with you and nowhere else. We never ask for card numbers, bank logins or one-time codes, and you should never send them to us.

The waiting list and the project form keep only what you typed into them.

The calculator reads your Shopify store through a private app you install yourself, with read-onlypermission. It reads an order’s total, its date, the items on it, and the governorate it ships to — the governorate only so we can price the right courier zone — together with your cost per item.

Your customers’ names, phone numbers and addresses are never stored. That is enforced by a test in our code, not only by this sentence. We cannot change, cancel or create anything in your store, and nothing is installed in your theme.

Remove the app from your Shopify settings and the reading stops immediately. Ask us to delete what we have already read and we delete it, with your store left exactly as it was.

The order-confirmation tool receives, from your own Shopify store, the details of each new order: the customer's name, phone number, order number, what they bought, and the city and address it ships to. We store that so we can send them one WhatsApp message asking whether the order is real, and record their answer.

That data is yours, not ours. We do not sell it, do not use it to advertise anything, do not use it to train any model, and do not use it for any purpose other than running the tool for you. No other themebase customer can see it.

The message itself is delivered by WhatsApp, so Meta processes it the same way it processes any WhatsApp message. Delivery status and the customer's reply come back to us and are stored against that order.

We use a small number of outside services to run the site, and only for that. Each one sees only what it needs:

Supabase stores the database and account logins. Vercel hosts the site. Resend sends our emails. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a sign-up is a person, not a bot. Meta / WhatsApp delivers the order messages. Shopify is where the order details come from, with your permission. Bosta is asked where a parcel is, using only its tracking number.

The chat box on our homepage is answered by an AI assistant from Anthropic, and a human can take over through Tawk.to. What you type into that box goes to those services to produce a reply. Don't put anything private in it.

We do not sell your information to anyone, and we never will.

Accounts and orders stay while you have an account with us, because that is how you re-download what you bought and how we support it. Order records for the WhatsApp tool are kept while you are using the tool and deleted within 90 days of you stopping.

Anything you ask us to delete, we delete — see below. Some records we have to keep longer where the law requires it, for example proof of a payment.

Email contact@themebase.app from the address on your account and ask. You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We reply within one working day and act within seven.

If one of your customers asks you to delete their data, tell us and we remove them from the tool. You do not need a reason and we will not ask for one.

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember whether you are reading the site in English or Arabic. That is all they do. We do not run advertising or tracking cookies and there is no analytics profile being built on you here.

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it and we email anyone with an account. We will not quietly widen what we do with your information.
