Refund policy

Last updated 18 September 2026

We take payment before we start work, so you deserve to know exactly when you get it back. This page says so plainly.

01Themes — seven days

A theme is a file, so it can't be handed back once you have it. Instead you get seven days: if it isn't what this site showed you, or you can't get it installed, email us within seven days of buying and we refund you in full.

The seven days run from the day you buy, not the day you open the file.

02One refund per customer

The seven days exist so you can check the theme is what we said it was. They aren't there to run a live store, test ads, or deliver a client project and then hand it back. So it's one refund per customer, ever — after that, purchases are final.

If something in the theme is genuinely broken, that isn't a refund question — we fix it, free, for as long as you own it. Ask us before asking for your money back; it's usually faster.

03Custom work — different terms

Custom websites, custom Shopify stores, app UI design, dashboards and automation are quoted work, not a download, so they don't fall under the seven days. Those are refundable in full before we start, and once work has begun you pay for what's been done. It's written into every quote before you agree to it.

04What we can't refund

Your Shopify subscription, your domain, and any paid apps — you pay those to other companies, not to us, so their refund rules apply, not ours.

Support after your store goes live is included in the price and does not expire. It isn't priced separately, so there is nothing to refund on it.

05How to ask for a refund

Email contact@themebase.app from the address you ordered with. We reply within one working day, and the money goes back the same way you paid it within 7 working days.

Questions about any of this? Email us at contact@themebase.app and we'll answer.
