Can I buy only a domain, without a website?
Yes. Plenty of people want the name secured before the site exists, or have a store or email that needs one. That's what this page is for.
Which endings can I have?
The common ones — .com, .net, .shop, .store, .co and many more. Country endings like .com.eg have their own rules and paperwork, so ask us first and we'll tell you if we can get it.
What if the name I want is taken?
We tell you, and suggest close alternatives that are free — a different ending, or a small change to the name.
Why is the price held only a few days?
Domains are priced in dollars. The dollar moves against the pound, so we hold the price for a few days and re-check it after that.
Who owns the domain?
You do — it's registered in your name. We keep it on our account so we can renew it on your say and make any change you ask for.
What if I change my mind and want to hold it myself?
You can, any time after its first 60 days — every domain is locked for 60 days after it's bought or moved, a rule set for the whole internet, not by us. After that: you tell us, we unlock it and send you its transfer code, and you move it to your own account at any registrar you like. From then on you renew it yourself, directly with them, and anything connected to it keeps working.
Can I have email on my domain, like you@yourbrand.com?
Yes. We connect the domain to an email service; the email service itself is its own cost, and we'll tell you the options before you choose.
