Questions
- Do you change anything in my Shopify?
- No. Every permission we ask for is read-only — we can read orders and product costs, and nothing else. There is no permission in the list that would let us edit, cancel or create anything.
- Do you keep my customers' details?
- No. We read an order's total, date, line items and the delivery governorate — the governorate only so we can price the courier zone. Names, phone numbers and addresses are never stored.
- What if I have not filled in cost per item in Shopify?
- The tool still works. Those orders are flagged rather than guessed at, and you can set one default cost, or type a cost per product, whichever suits you.
- My courier is not Bosta.
- Fine. The rate card is yours to write — zones and prices, whatever your courier charges. Nothing about the tool assumes a particular one.
- Why is a refused order shown as a loss?
- Because that is what it is. The parcel shipped, came back, and the courier charged for the round trip while you collected nothing. Most calculators drop those orders, which is why their totals look better than your bank account.
